A Place to Feel at Home, Every Day

112 Wheatsheaf Road, Morphett Vale is a purpose-built, single-storey Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) home designed for two participants under the High Physical Support category. The home brings together accessible living spaces, private bedrooms, and dedicated overnight support accommodation in a comfortable residential setting.

Both participant bedrooms include private ensuites, while two additional retreat areas provide flexibility for relaxing, spending time independently, or enjoying personal activities. The open-plan living spaces, accessible kitchen, and outdoor areas create a welcoming environment that supports everyday routines.

More Room for Life's Moments

Welcoming Spaces for Living and Relaxing

The open-plan family, dining, and kitchen areas create a comfortable shared environment where participants can enjoy meals, welcome visitors, and spend time together. The layout provides generous circulation space, making movement between everyday living areas easier for participants and support workers.

Two separate retreat areas offer additional flexibility beyond the main family room. Whether used for watching television, enjoying hobbies, or spending some quiet time alone, these spaces allow participants to follow their own routines while sharing a home.

Your Own Space, Your Comfort

Private Bedrooms with Accessible Ensuites

Both participant bedrooms are designed to provide privacy, comfort, and room for individual support needs. Each bedroom includes wardrobe storage and its own accessible ensuite, allowing participants to enjoy their own personal space without sharing bathroom facilities.

The bedrooms accommodate mobility equipment and include structural provision for ceiling hoists. Accessible ensuite layouts, step-free shower areas, and reinforced bathroom walls support safer personal care while helping participants maintain dignity and independence.

Making Everyday Routines Feel Easier

An Accessible Kitchen for Everyday Living

The kitchen connects directly to the family and dining areas, creating a practical space where participants can take part in meal preparation and everyday household activities. Its open arrangement makes it easier to move between spaces while allowing support workers to assist when required.

Accessibility features include wheelchair-friendly circulation, an adjustable benchtop, and easy-to-use fixtures. These thoughtful inclusions help make daily activities more manageable while encouraging participants to remain involved in their routines.

Support Close, Freedom to Live

Dedicated Overnight Accommodation for Support Workers

The home includes a dedicated On-site Overnight Assistance (OOA) room, providing a designated space for support workers who need to remain on-site overnight. This arrangement helps ensure assistance is available when required without taking away from the comfort of participants' personal spaces.

For SIL providers, the OOA room supports overnight staffing arrangements and the delivery of consistent care. Participants can enjoy greater privacy and independence while knowing support is nearby whenever needed.

A Little More Room Outdoors

Fresh Air and Space to Unwind

The property includes an alfresco area and additional patio spaces, giving participants opportunities to enjoy fresh air, spend time with visitors, or relax outside. These outdoor areas complement the home's indoor living spaces and provide more choice in how participants spend their day.

Step-free access provisions and slip-resistant surfaces help support safer movement between indoor and outdoor areas. The result is a more flexible living environment that encourages participants to enjoy both their home and its outdoor surroundings.
