High Physical Support Living In Box Hill North

1 Luther Street, Box Hill North is a purpose-built 3-participant High Physical Support SDA home designed for participants who need accessible living, strong support capacity, and a comfortable home environment in Melbourne’s inner east.

This single-storey home has been planned to support privacy, independence, and easy day-to-day movement. Each participant has their own bedroom, built-in robe, and private ensuite, giving everyone a personal space that feels separate and dignified within the shared home.

The home also includes a dedicated Onsite Overnight Assistance (OOA) room, giving support teams a practical space to remain nearby when needed while keeping participant areas focused on everyday living.

A Home Designed Around Choice

Shared Living With Space To Breathe

The layout gives participants more than one place to spend time, relax, and connect. The central living and meals area creates a warm shared space for daily routines, meals, visitors, and social connection.

A separate lounge near the front of the home adds valuable flexibility. This gives participants the option of a quieter retreat away from the main living area, which can make a real difference in a shared SDA setting..

Private Participant Spaces

Three Bedrooms, Three Ensuites, More Independence

Each participant bedroom has been designed as a private and comfortable personal space. With built-in robes and individual ensuites, participants can enjoy greater privacy, easier routines, and more independence within the home.

The bedroom arrangement supports shared living without making the home feel crowded. Each participant has their own defined area, while still being close to the central hallway, shared living zones, and support spaces.

Everyday Living Made Easier

Open Kitchen, Meals And Living Areas

The kitchen connects directly with the meals and living area, creating a practical central zone for everyday life. The adjustable island bench, accessible benching, and pantry help make the kitchen more usable for participants and support teams.

The open living and dining space gives the home a relaxed residential feel, while also allowing enough room for movement, support, and shared activity. It is designed to feel comfortable and familiar, not clinical.

Support That Fits Into The Home

OOA Space For Practical Overnight Support

The dedicated Onsite Overnight Assistance (OOA) room is positioned near the kitchen, laundry, and central areas of the home. This allows support to be close and responsive while still maintaining separation from participant bedrooms.

The OOA area also has nearby bathroom access, helping make the home practical for SIL providers and support staff working overnight or across extended shifts.

Outdoor Comfort And Connection

Alfresco Living With Garden Space

The covered alfresco area connects with the main living zone, giving participants an easy outdoor space for fresh air, meals, visitors, or quiet time.

The home also includes garden areas, service yard space, participant parking, garage access, and laundry facilities. These practical inclusions help support both everyday household routines and long-term liveability.

Location and Local Amenities

1 Luther Street is located in Box Hill North, a well-connected residential area close to everyday shopping, green spaces, medical services, and public transport. The location is practical for participants, families, support coordinators, and SIL providers who want strong access to services while still being based in a quieter suburban setting.
