What Fully Accessible Means
A high level of physical access throughout, built so that someone with significant physical impairment can move through the whole home independently. It suits people who have significant physical impairment and move independently.
Typically includes
- Level, step-free entry
- Wider doorways and corridors
- Turning circles in key rooms
- Roll-in shower and reachable fittings
The wording follows the NDIS SDA Design Standard. Your NDIS plan states which category you're funded for; how the four design categories differ.
